Moss Point School District Board of Trustees and honored guest celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony symbolizing the start of construction for a much-needed state-of-the-art Magnolia Middle School.
The 122,000 square feet, $12 million dollar ultra modern facility will serve 7th and 8th grade students with a wing designed to house 6th graders in the future. "It truly is going to be one of the finest facilities in the state -- not only in athletics and in food service and in fine arts, but the academic areas will be as fine as anything Mississippi has ever seen," says architect Gary Bailey.
The building is schedule for completion by the fall of 2013.
