MPHS Receives Ingalls STEM Grant Funds | Schools

Recently, CTE Director, Paulette Briscoe and instructor, Nikki Cunningham, received $5,000 from Ingalls Shipbuilders for ninth-grade students to engage in more hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM)disciplines. Students will also be encouraged to attend various job-shadowing events. Previously an additional $1,000 was awarded for BEST robotics competition to the Robotics Club.
